The Adopt-a-Block program awards community service hours to members of student organizations who “adopt” a defined portion of the neighborhood, providing litter removal, nuisance reporting, and other services as needed. This map shows adoption areas in the College Hill Core. Participating organizations are recognized at our Annual Public Meeting in September and updated lists are posted to our facebook page.

Adopt-a-Block is a collaborative project of the College Hill Association, the WSU Center for Civic Engagement, and ASWSU GIVE--but it is primarily organized and administered through the ASWSU GIVE student organization. If your student organization would like to get involved with the Adopt-A-Block program, please contact ASWSU GIVE at aswsu.give@wsu.edu
Adopt-a-Block operates on the WSU semester basis, so be sure to contact ASWSU GIVE in the first week of the semester!
